The jacket top pocket is common in standard sized suits and we are used to seeing it. It is useful to place a folded handkerchief but if you prefer a more uncluttered style leave it out.
Select a slanted or straight pocket style. We usually advise you to choose a flap as you can hide it inside the pocket. You can also add a ticket pocket. Use flattened pockets for a more English style or don't have any pockets for an uncluttered style.
